This part of this central city area was left in a political limbo for 25 years as the bureaucrats decided on the impending By Pass project that was to cut through a historical part of the city.
During this time A community of artists, creatives and small businesses attracted by cheep inner-city rents occupied this place and made it home during this uncertain time .
